Having personally been licensed in the State of Florida for 33 years, I have represented both the Insurance Companies and the public. My partner and I have a combined experience of over 70 years in the construction and claims settlement environment. Since 2004 Insurance Consultants Group has
championed the rights of policyholders, both residential and commercial.

A Public Insurance Adjuster, is a professional who is an expert in managing insurance claims and the claims process. Public Adjusters work strictly for the general public – you, the Residential or Commercial Policy Holder. The Public Adjuster’s role is to assist you in preparing, filing and negotiating the total payment amount of your insurance claim. As Public Insurance Adjusters, Insurance Consultants Group will handle claims for hurricane damage, hail, fire, flood, tornado damage, and plumbing related damages.

Licensed Public Adjusters, Like Insurance Consultants Group, possess skills, acquired by years of training and experience, which enable them to understand the complex coverage issues of your insurance policy. They apply these skills, helping you to better assess your options to maximize your benefits not minimize the Insurance Company’s exposure.

The insurance companies employ adjusters to assess your claim. However, the insurance company’s adjuster represents the insurer’s interests. Which in most cases is to minimize their financial exposure. A Public Adjuster is an independent professional who works for you, the policyholder, represents you, and has a fiduciary responsibility only to you.

Most states require Public Adjusters to be licensed (Andre Boucher is licensed in multiple states). Florida has licensing requirements that are some of the toughest in the nation. Public Adjusters are required to have sufficient training and experience, pass rigorous exams, be trustworthy, and operate without detriment to the public. Most states also require that a surety bond is posted. Florida’s licensing is reciprocal with 25 other states. As a licensed General Contractor, Insurance Consultants Group meets or exceeds these requirements. The insurance companies adjusters have no such requirements.
